Resolved! Mobile phone/internet down?

I live in Laurentian Valley and do not have internet or mobile phone, does anyone else not have service, i was advised by Virgin it would take 4 to 48 hrs???  What if there is an emergency.  This is ridiculous.  Virgin will be losing me as a customer...

Resolved! Mobile phone notifications

I am wondering if Virgin can stop sending so many notifications to my phone about 'offers'? Or at least stop then from sounding a tone when they do. It's not so much the frequency..... it's the ping sound from my phone..... usually at inopportune mom...
