Resolved! Roaming with a Prepaid plan - I need to receive texts internationally. What do I do?

I am located internationally (UAE) and need to receive texts . I have 25 dollar normal prepaid plan and I turned on the SMS option but did not receive any texts. can anybody help ? Do I need to do some settings?
