CAN/US/MEX plan clarity with Roam Sweet Roam

Hello all,

I just changed to the CAN/US/MEX promotional plan. But I’m a bit confused about the plan details and how I can correctly use the features when travelling to the U.S. and Mexico.

below is a photo of what’s included in the plan. It includes the Roam Sweet Roam (with a description of rates); and also includes unlimited call/text and US/MEX data share.

my confusion is - if my plan already include US/MEX calling, text and data, do I still need to turn on roaming while I’m travelling? I mean - if I turn on roaming, I guess I will be charged because of the Roam Sweet Roam. But if I don’t turn on roaming, will I be able to access the US/Mexico network?

Not sure if anyone know the answer. But I really appreciate the help! Thank you in advance!

With your CAN/US/MEX plan, you can use your phone in the U.S. and Mexico exactly as you do in Canada without incurring daily Roam Sweet Roam charges.

Will you be charged?

• No, you will not be charged the daily Roam Sweet Roam fee in the U.S. or Mexico because your plan specifically includes roaming services for those destinations.

Do you need to turn on roaming?

• Yes, you must turn on Data Roaming in your phone's settings to access the local U.S. and/or Mexico networks.
• Setting tip: In some areas you may need to change your network selection in your phones settings from "Automatic" to "Manual" and test the various available options until you find a stable connection.
