Poor reception in the J2M and J0E area in around Waterloo Quebec

Does any know if Virgin Plus / Bell have any plans on upgrading their network quality of coverage offered in and around Waterloo Quebec?

Signal of 1 bar LTE is hardly enough to function using data. Especially during power outages when home Internet users rely heavily on Cellular networks.

With that said, we can understand your frustration. For us to have more insight, could you please provide further details? Do keep in mind as well that many factors can limit signal strength; topography, environmental conditions, line of sight to towers, types of buildings in your area, etc. 

  • Are you seeing any issues with your calling and/or SMS as well?
  • Is the issue only occurring indoors, outdoors or both?
  • What is the make, model and IOS/OS version of your phone?
  • Do you know of anyone else in the are having similar issues?
  • Have you tried using Wi-Fi calling where available?
  • Have you got in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket for further investigation if needed?
