My cottage property is in Sandy Cove, Digby County, Nova Scotia. We have always enjoyed 3 bar service at this location. Since the Spring of 2023, our service has deteriorated to 2 bars or less. We believe that we get service from across St. Mary’s Bay - can see the tower from our location. Is there a problem with that tower?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
As the Community is a peer to peer assistance channel, it would be hard to determine the cause. However, signal strength can be affected by many factors; line of sight to towers, topography, the amount of users connected to the tower and many more.
In order for the Community to best assist, some extra details will be needed;
- Are you seeing any issues with your calls, texts and/or data?
- Are the issues only happening indoors at your cottage, or outdoors as well?
- Do you know of anyone else in the are having similar issues?
- Have you tried using Wi-Fi calling where available?
- Have you tried to simply restart your phone and reset the network settings?
- Have you got in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket?
We also suggest checking out Troubleshooting voice calls

Thank you for your response to my post
Essentially, our phone calls are affected inside our cottage - better outside. We are on a hill and are in direct line of sight of two towers (one quite far away, but visible to the naked eye nonetheless), but we are not sure if they are both cell towers and who owns them. I tried to get in touch with tech support using the menu(sss) 🙂 on the website, but have had great difficulty getting to the place where I would "open a ticket".
It is important to note that this is a new problem - starting this spring. We have never had trouble at this location before. In fact we had some of the best cell service in the village. And that is why I was wondering if there might be an issue with the tower(s).
Once again, thanks for your response, and any assistance you can provide - particularly how to get a ticket opened would be appreciated.

why are there dropped calls and total loss of loss of cell signal in southern nova scotia? up until a year ago or so it was ok what has happened we live not more then 3 km from 2 towers, are rogers or telus affected too?
