travelling in US, trying to get Roam Sweet Roam working... Keep getting this message:
"Oh no Member. A tech issue prevented Roam Sweet Roam with home data from being added to your account. Try again later or give us a shout at 1-888-999-2321 ( vpc.ca/aboutus )"
Need this solved asap and cust service is closed, anyone know what's up?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
Out of curiosity, have you checked your plan for Roaming restrictions, and have you added a Travel Add-On like Roam Sweet Roam to your account? To get Roam Sweet Roam with home data, simply text ROAMHOME to 6800. Once enrolled, you will automatically enjoy affordable daily rates for each day you call, text or use data with your phone when roaming in any of our Roam Sweet Roam destinations.
While traveling, your phone may have difficulty connecting to a foreign network and may need some help. To do so you simply need to go in your network settings and manually test the different local networks until you find one that is stable. If you don't know how, check out our interactive phone guides at Get to Know Your Phone or Tablet on VirginPlus.ca.
Also please note that wireless carriers in the U.S. have begun phasing out their 3G / HSPA wireless network service (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands). For full details check out U.S. 3G / HSPA NETWORK DISCONTINUATION

I have attached roam sweet roam to my account as I am travelling the UK. I understand it is 16.00 a day if I use texting, called and my own data while using my apps.
I tried my goggle map the other day and would not work. I had my airplane mode off and no wifi, but still should work on my own data.
please let my know as we just started our travels through the UK

You may have disabled data roaming on your device and will need to enable it to use data outside of Canada.
What kind of device are you using?

I live in Canada and signed up for Roam Sweet Roam before traveling to the UK.
I'm currently in the UK - I can text/call to Canada with no problem but I can't make calls to local UK numbers. I've tried calling it like a local number and like an international number and neither will go through.
What gives? Am I doing something wrong or is this just a huge waste of $16/day?

II have used Roam Sweet Roam many times but I am now in Majorca and can not make calls and can not use mobile data. Ite yed ROAMHOME yo 6800 but nothing. This is bad I am relying on it. But cant call Virgin for help because I cant make calls.

Hi there, @Evangaline. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thanks for your post.
I'd recommend reviewing @VirginPlusAntgio's second point in their solution. Your phone may be attempting to connect to a local network that is insufficient or ill-equipped for non-local users. We'd recommend following the advice provided to go into your phone's settings and test connecting to a different local network.
If after this you're still unable to make use of local services, please let us know so we can investigate further.

My roaming is not working. I did text Roamhome and it didn't work. I've used roaming before on my phone and now all of a sudden it's not working. I'm already in the States and can't make calls. Can someone please at roaming to my phone.

I am currently in the United Kingdom and have had Roam Sweet Roam enabled for years. I received a text from VirginPlus telling me I’ll need a Travel Data Pass. I checked my account and now there are messages telling me that I have Data Roaming Usage charges and Long Distance call charges. Is this just a glitch that will be covered by my Roaming Sweet Roam? I got the text telling me Roam Sweet Roam was working the first day of my trip, so it’s definitely supposed to be active.

Hi, I'm in Rome. I wasn't able to access data on the street all of a sudden so I came back to my hotel for Wifi. I called Virgin Mobile and spoke to a man and explained may issue. He walked me through the process to do a network settings reset. I did as he suggested and then wasn't able to access my phone. The screen is on, but nothing I do works. He called me back and I answered on my Apple watch and explained the process. Then we got cut off.
