Internet TV ( a la carte )

I have internet with Virgin, I am only interested in acquiring one, perhaps 2 channels from add ons, 

can I purchase the add on channel only ?

and add either $5 or $10 per month to my monthly invoice ?

I am not interested in getting the $25 internet tv package, I got rid of cable ten years ago because I don't

care to pay for channels I will never watch,

No, you're not able to pay exclusively for a la carte channels without the package deal. A la carte channels are treated as optional additions to that baseline subscription.
