using my phone as a hotspot

I was wondering if I may use my phone as a hotspot for my kids to connect their tablet or phone when we are on long road trips. would this be posible or am I not allowed to do this?

It depends on the monthly plan that you have. To confirm if you have the capability, log in to My Account and check if you have Hotspot capabilities as a feature on your plan.

I plan to travel across Canada and wish to use my laptop on a regular basis, what would you suggest to have secure and reliable internet access while traveling?

I don't want to rely on random internet access like Tim Hortons etc...

There is no problem for me to use IPhone while travelling
