photos and some messages do not download on new Samsung phone

Hi... just bought a new phone Samsung and photos/some messages will not download when texted.... can anyone help with what setting we've missed to correct this?

Open the Messages app.

Touch the menu icon, (should see it on the right side of the search field).

Touch Settings.

Scroll down and touch Advanced.

Toggle on Auto download MMS. 

If the above is toggled on already. What kind of device did you have before the new Samsung, if it was an iPhone. Deregister your imessage
