Hi there, @Deuce. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.

To clarify for the Community, have you had difficulties with activating wi-fi calling on your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro? All Google devices past the Pixel 3 support wi-fi calling with Virgin Plus from launch.

We'd recommend checking out our page on Wi-Fi CallingOpens in a new tab or window to double check and make sure that you meet all the eligibility conditions. If you've made sure you meet all the conditions and you're still receiving an error when trying to activate, please share a screenshot of the error in question, making sure all personally identifying info has been censored.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

No, I am looking at upgrading to a pixel 8.   When I go through the process on my account to upgrade device, it tells me wifi calling is not an available add on.    Just want to make sure wifi calling works with the Virgin network prior to upgrading as I have no service at work and rely on wifi calling.

Thank you for your quick response, @Deuce.

Could you please share a screenshot of where in the upgrade process that you're seeing that wi-fi calling is not available? Wi-fi calling availability can be dependent on your plan of choice, and we'd like to confirm if this is being presented as the phone or the plan when you're going through that process.

Thanks for the screenshot @Deuce

This can happen during an order process as the Wi-Fi Calling profile is currently linked to your current phone.

In the moment that you would be having issues activating the feature on the new phone, you would simply need to reach out to one of our Virgin Plus representatives for assistance.
