hi, how can i change my voicemail pin?

Bring up the number/dial pad

Press and hold 1, on your cell phone 

Enter PIN when prompted,

4, 3, 1 listen to the options. Record new or use standard.

Forgot you PIN, will need to reset your voice-mail. 

MY ACCOUNT APP

Go to My Account using your phone's browser or download and open the My Account app.

Tap on My plan & add-ons.Tap on the Add-on settings tab.Hit the Reset PIN button.Enter email address to receive confirmation and hit the Continue button.Voila!  You’ll need your temporary PIN to access your voicemail so before you forget it...hit the Access voicemail now button. Once you’re in, you’ll be asked to choose a new PIN.

We just wanted to check with you that you would have updated the correct PIN as on your online profile you can update your validation PIN and also your voicemail PIN.

Hi, is the voicemail pin the same pin that I created for my account?

I am having difficulty getting my voice mail. I have entered pin and it is telling me it’s wrong. I changed pin as suggested on website. Still unable to access voicemail. So frustrated. 

Hi @CM! Thanks for your post. Your voicemail pin is different. It is normally a 4 digit Pin that you can find in your My Account. Just go to your Virgin Plus account, and under My Plan and Add-Ons look for the voicemail Pin. You can reset the Pin from there. 🙂

Same with me and its getting very annoying

It keeps telling me to enter temporary pin number. I entered the pin number I set up when I registered and it is not accepting this number. i entered ***** and it never accepted that number. what number am I supposed to use?

Hi there, @help. Welcome to the Community.

We wanted to check in if you were still having issues with your voicemail PIN. Have you tried entering your temporary PIN instead? It would be visible in your original service agreement with Virgin Plus.

Otherwise, check out @VirginPlusAntgio's reply above for how to update your voicemail PIN.

My voicemail said my pin was incorrect even thought I know it wasn't. Then when I reset the pin it still wont let me in. Please help.

Why do they always ask for a temporary pin while I try to access my voicemail?

After upgrading my phone, my PIN became changed or obsolete. When I tried to update it in my account profile, the URL kept changing rapidly without permitting me to proceed. I contacted technical support today and spoke with her for 55 minutes before hanging up in exasperation. She would put me on hold for several minutes, and then ask for my name and email. Then she would put me on hold for several minutes and return to ask for my name and email. I gave her the info she requested each time. This loop repeated several times, so I asked to speak with her supervisor, or someone able to assist. She refused to allow someone else to help and she refused to give me her name. For Virgin's info, the support call occurred today, Sept 3, 2024, at 11:15 am EST. When I asked her some questions, she replied with stock Customer Support questions. I have been a Director of a Support desk for a software company for ten years, and understand that sometimes patience on these types of calls is required. But this was unacceptable. My problem was never solved.

I registered an account / app PIN as a new client recently. 

However, this PIN doesn't work for checking voicemail. When I call in, a message states I must register a *separate voicemail PIN.

Chat AI is useless and wants me to reset my total account PIN.

I have since registered for SMS voicemail but have two outstanding voicemails still to check.

What is the solution? Thanks
