I assume my voicemail routine is all Virgin, not Samsung, but I am frustrated by how many commands I must enter, and give my name and date, to retrieve a voicemail.
I know I can quickly listen to the voicemail via text, but it still leaves the voicemail on the system, that I have to go through the long routine to delete it.
Is there a "light" version where I can quickly access voicemails? Perhaps the first option after logging in is "listen to all new voicemails" ?

Hi there @Steve_1.
Welcome to the Community.
From your description, it sounds like some of your voicemail settings may be set differently.
When accessing your voicemail and after you entered your password, you should hear the following options;
- Press 1 to Review your messages.
- Press 4 for Personal options.
- To exit press *.
When you press 4, you will hear the following;
- To change administrative options press 2.
- For greetings or recorded name press 3.
- To establish or change Security options press 6.
- To exit press *.
From your admin options, you can set it if you would like for it to skip your password. In the Security options, you can change your Access Security setting and hear more information as to what that entails.

Bingo !
The bigger issue was "access security" which is now turned off. After providing PIN number, It would have me listen to the name and time of the last access to my voicemail, then "to keep going hit 7", and then "record your name and time of day" (and it would not accept silence, so I normally just say "mumble"). Then I would finally be approaching the option of listing to the voicemail.
I now also turned off PIN number requirement.
Thank you for your help.

Is there a way to only get my messages via txt. Its easy to play and save there. But I find I have to also call to delete my messages online. I would rather they just automatically deleted after they were sent to me via txt.
Thank you.

If you call my cell phone and don't want to listen to my greeting, is there a button you can press to skip the greeting and go directly to the beep?

Where is the response to this suggestion? Now I HAVE to monitor the call in VM box. I'm able to opt out of MMS notifications, let me opt out of VM that I need to call and just have text notification.
