I keep getting voicemails and the notifications for them.  But when I call voice mail it says I have no messages and leaves me no option to listen to any messages.

Hi @Yvr

Just to confirm, your device on the latest iOS version update up to date.

Try rebooting phone.

Hey,

I am having the same thing - I can see and listen to the Visual Voicemail message, but when I call into my voicemail, it says I have no messages.

I did a Live Chat for technical support, and the agent said there was an issue with my voicemail.  They’ve started a ticket to escalate the issue.

I recommend you reach out either by Live Chat or call, and have them look into it for you.

I’m having the same issue. I realized just now it’s been going on fir the past five days at least. Ugh. I’ve missed some important calls

Hi there, @kimmac29.

We're glad to hear that you had previously reached out to Tech Support. Had you heard back in regards to your ticket as of yet? If so, were they able to find a fix in regards to your voicemail?

@Jasmineisism, have you tried reaching out to Tech Support as well as recommended by kimmac29?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry for the delay, got distracted by the holidays!

I knew the Visual Voicemail was an iOS feature, but didn’t realize it is the carrier that starts using/offering it (from online articles), and the agent I spoke to explained that it’s an either-or situation. You can’t have Visual Voicemail setup, and call in to get voicemails. I decided I would keep the Visual Voicemail for awhile to try. I liked listening to voicemails through text, but then was a pain having to call in to delete them.

I thought he mentioned a way we could revert to call voicemail, but then I couldn’t find it to explain here; more Googling said you have to request it through carrier.

So basically, if you don’t want to use the Visual Voicemail, reach out to Virgin to request it be disabled (and if there is a way for us to do it directly that I didn’t find, let us know.

Hope this helps!
