Hi, I got a call this morning (with a c/b # of 902-800-****) offering me a monthly cell phone discount to $45 per month, with a free Apple Watch. Sounds to good to be true as all they needed was my credit card as they provided me with account #s, addresses, etc. Also got emails from both Virgin and Bell from them. So, scam?

This is undoubtedly a scam attempt. When an offer sounds too good to be true, it's good to treat it as such and be skeptical. The clearest red flag would be any mention of free hardware.

Thank you for reply.
The scammer is using the phone numer 639-318-**** to call me. He also gave me another number 438-795-****. He tried to ask me to send him the verification code from an email of Virgin Plus. After he has this code, he had reset my account password and he made the order of Iphone15 pro max. Then, he made my account in blocking state, I counld’t login and recovery my password.
I have to call Virgin Plus support to recovery my account and cancel the order.
I have called back him by number 438-795-****, and he told me, he is from Virgin Plus and he will cancel the oder for me.
But I don’t believe in him again.

Just a PSA. Getting multiple SCAM calls on my Mobile from a call center, displaying a local number.
Scammer reports they are from Bell, along with ownership of Virgin.
They report you're a good customer and qualify for a 40% discount on all services.
Asks about your billing and then starts trolling for details.

- This was about to happen with me as well. I just cut the call as soon I googled the conversation and your note came up. You saved me. I called the customer support center to reset my account.

Hello! Just received this exact scam, claiming to be Virgin Plus employees offering lower prices on my bill, from the number 1-514-79*-****. I will report it to CAFC as recommended above.

Hi! I just got a phone call from Amos Quebec for Bell/Virgin for a promotion going on right now. They were offering 40% off my monthly membership for the next 44 months. Is that a legit offer that Virgin is offering right now? I think not. The guy on the other end was very rude and unprofessional.

I just got a similar call to my Virgin number. It sounded great as I was offered an Apple Watch or an iPad Pro. He asked for my email address but I asked him to tell me. If he was with Virgin he’d know it. He couldn’t tell me so I hung up.

I received a call offering a discount on my plan and a free ipad or apple watch, then thay confirmed my house # and postal code, the asked for my email address. then i got a text from virgin for a verification code while he was asking me for my date of birth. i hung up after i got the verification code, cause from my understanding that text is for changing my account setting like resetting my account password.
call was from 204-59*-****
