Can I get voicemail messages also sent to my email?

I know this has likely been covered in the past BUT I am looking/hoping that technology has finally made this seemingly simple task an option now with Virgin Plus Mobility and that is to have voicemail messages left in your inbox, also sent to your email as either a text OR a voice file of that message.

As a traveller the solution needed is not one that requires me to keep my Canadian SIM card and service fully active while away for months on end, I just want to have voicemail message forwarded to my email so I can determine if I need to take some sort of action. Of note, while away, I continue to pay for mobile services even though I don't use anything, I just keep my mobile active for my return.

All this to say, I really would like to have this voicemail option available.

Has anything changed within Virgin Mobile?  (I believe Bell Canada offers this and understand there are many shared services between these two companies....)

At this time we do not offer an option for voicemails to be forwarded to your email. You can use our Voicemail via MMS feature to have an audio file copy of your voicemails sent to you, at which point you can choose what you'd like to do with them (email them, back them up, etc).

I would love to see something like this while traveling. I'm in Europe for 2 months almost and can not afford the travelling charges so have to purchase European simcards at a fraction of the cost to have Data, and phone. However I can get my rogers home voice messages by email, sent as a wave file. Getting access to voice messeages on emails would be a bonus with Virgin Mobile.
