Valerie Box replacement in Ontario

My internet box failure was reported on Friday evening, 21Jan22, and on speaking to the tech department it needs to be replaced.  I have been told by them that this can take up to 8 business day for it to be couriered to my home!!  I find this hard to believe and offered to take my defective box to the nearest Virgin or Bell store to change, but it seems this is not possible!  How can Virgin expect people working from home to deal with this, other than to change to another internet provider?  Can you not do better than this Virgin?
