Slower Internet speed on Laptop

I have VirginPlus 100 Mbps speed connection.. i usually get 100 to 130 Mbps speed on mobile but in laptop its very slow around 5-20 mbps... i have tried tweaking network settings, driver updates etc but does not seem to solve the issue.  the same laptop used to get good speed when i was with other ISP. this seem to be an issue with Virgin Plus Valerie Modem/router... i have restarted the modem and also tried to update settings  but no luck..

Speeds may vary depending on the distance between the laptop and equipment from Virgin Plus. Speeds experienced on the internet may vary with your configuration, internet traffic, server, environmental conditions and other factors.

Have you tried other Wi-Fi enabled devices outside of your mobile device to see if the variation happened with them also? When the speed test was performed with your laptop was it over Wi-Fi or wired/Ethernet?
