You're paying for: UP TO 50mbps, not 50mbps exactly. Your speed is dependent on the wiring in your area. You can't control it. You can try hardwiring your computer to your modem to see if that makes a difference.

Hi,
I recently upgraded my internet plan from the old 25gig unlimited to the 50gig unlimited but still have yet to see any change in my internet speed. I've manually reset my modem by unplugging for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. I have done it virtually through the virtual tools. I have also done several speed tests on my phone using the Speedtest app and also using the speed test app through Virgin Plus. Why am I paying more for a plan that doesn't give me more? I took a few screen captures before and after a recent virtual restart. Maybe I'm missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
