I have a USB drive plugged into my Valerie modem. When I try to map it as a network drive through windows 11, I continually get a Windows security popup telling me that either the username or password is incorrect. I've tried every combination of passwords and usernames I can think of, including those for Valerie (Virgin) wifi connection to the my administrator password for the modem to my windows username and password.....nothing works. What should I be entering to gain access and be able to map the drive?
I am connected to Valerie, I just cannot connect to the drive. Here is a screeshot of the window that pops up while I try to map the drive. The "admin" at the bottom is just one of the many username entries I've tried to gain access.

Hey there @JimD ,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
There shouldn't be the need of an Admin Username/Password when accessing your device through the USB port on the modem. To access it, you should only need to use the "Run" function from the start menu of your computer and type \\192.168.2.1\ followed by the volume name...for instance if the drive is called DATA then you need to type in \\192.168.2.1\DATA and then you should get an FTP type listing of the files.

Thank you for your post, but the run command you suggest is functionally the same as mapping the drive from within File Explorer, and it similarly is asking for a password.
I did receive a call from a tech at Bell, as Virgin have very limited tech support locally, and they outsource this to Bell. Not optimal, because Bell techs are less familiar with Virgin equipment. She did have a promising suggestion, to try the installation technician's username and password, which I still had, but this unfortunately did not change anything.
I am currently pursuing it with Microsoft, now up to level 3 for a Monday call. Not sure how many levels they have, but they've been thorough and persistent in their efforts to help thusfar.
My if all else fails solution would be to run Valerie as a simple modem, and attach a more capable router.
