The Virgin Plus technician is coming to set up my new internet service. Do I cancel my service with the previous internet provider or does Virgin Plus do this?

Your service with your former provider may be physically disconnected, either by yourself or by the technician. However unlike when porting a mobile phone number, you will need to reach out to your former provider to have your account with them cancelled and have regular billing stopped.
