Voicemail messages are being cutoff

Has anyone experienced in the last couple months or so that their voicemail messages from others have been cut short?
I get calls from Alberta Health Services for callbacks and/or appointments from various departments. After AHS’s long covid spiel is the important information regarding who is calling and why. This last part is now being cut off in my voicemail box.
It seems that the length of time that is allowed has been shortened since this new VVM system has come into effect.
I have called and virgin has “reset” my voicemail. It has not worked. Any solutions?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
That would depend on the voicemail package that you have.
For Voicemail 3 (this is the general voicemail included in our plans);
- Max 2 min in length per message.
- Store up to 3 messages.
- Messages can be saved for a max of 3 days.
For Voicemail 25 Booster (this can be added as an upgrade for a small monthly fee at your request)
- Max 5 min in length per message.
- Store up to 25 messages.
- Messages can be saved for a max of 25 days.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
I do have the basic voicemail package of three messages. Except it is not 2 minutes in message length anymore. It is now 1 minute long. I believe this change happened when I started getting my voice messages in a recording via text. Something I did not ask for (you still have to go into your voice mail to delete message).
What solutions can you suggest to get it back to 2 minutes long?

Currently, to increase the length of voicemail recordings the only option would be to upgrade to the Voicemail 25 Booster.

I do feel that your response is confusing and unacceptable. Why upgrade to a product unnecessarily if my current should work properly? You stated on April 20 that voicemail 3 includes:
For Voicemail 3 (this is the general voicemail included in our plans); Max 2 min in length per message.
I have received no notification of changes within my agreement/ contract regarding voicemail three length of messages now being less than 2 minutes.
These are the possible solutions that I have. Suggestions are welcome. Please:
1. Supply me with the notification that was sent out regarding these changes to voicemail 3
2. Resolve the issue of the length of the voicemail messages not being 2 minutes in length.
3. I have had my voicemail reset twice already as a solution.

Yes, I am experiencing the same thing. As per the terms of my contract the maximum length of a voicemail message is two minutes, but mine are being cut off after one minute. I called tech support and was told it will be investigated. Two weeks have passed and the issue has yet to be resolved.

It is now January 2025, and my voicemail 3 is still only one minute in length. Ridiculous for most folks. It really shouldn't be an issue to fix for Virgin. I'll try to contact them again.

Hey, good day.
I found this thread regarding how short the voicemail situation is.
My voice mail is also only one minute in length, cutting off folks mid message. Why is this not resolved, as I see this was an issue already way back in 2022?
