Unable To Access Number Transfer Settings

Hello,

On both the web and app portals for My Account, I go to the Data and Number Transfer Settings pages only to find Data options but no way to access any Number Transfer settings. I'm trying to port my number to a new, cheaper service after 6 years of being a Virgin customer.

It has simply gotten to be too expensive and I'm never able to keep my current plan which I am happy with if I want to access financing for a new phone. I'm done being boiled like a frog in a pot as the eligible rates climb ever higher on top of the upgrading cost to pay for the phones themselves.

When I attempt to transfer my number through the new provider, I do not receive the confirmation text at all. I need my number to be unlocked and transferable, but there are no Number Transfer settings ACTUALLY accessible through my services portal. Is there any way I am able to turn off port blocking/update my number transfer settings myself? Or do I need to call an agent to help me?

Have you followed up with your prospective new provider to narrow down and possibly confirm if the issue is being caused from their end or ours? Just as an example, they may be putting in incorrect info preventing the port request from being sent in the first place, thus never receiving any confirmation text.
