Text notification for overuse. There are three users and I'm the account holder but didn't receive.

Didn't receive a text message. I don't see where I can manage my notifications.

Hi there, @hello1. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.
While it's regrettable to hear that, as the Community is a peer-to-peer support channel, we wouldn't be able to say with 100% certainty what may have prevented you from receiving the notification.
If you're ever unsure, you can always keep an eye on our Usage Overview when logged into your My Account self-serve profile. From here you can also access the Data Manager for more control over individual user's data.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

You won't receive the warning messages...only the line that is reaching that threshold gets those messages. You will only get the message when it is over the data amount and the account is blocked after they've ding'd you for $50. I've had this argument with Virgin many times as I'm the account holder and have 2 teenagers also on the account that go over occasionally and I never know until it is too late and have been charged the overage fee already. They had no solution for me other than to buy a plan with more data.

Unfortunately Data Manager is useless in this scenario because it is all time based and assumes you are proactively needing to block data. If it were data % based it would be much more useful. Say something like block data until the end of the billing cycle when it reaches 99%. That way no one would go over...but wait then Virgin wouldn't make all that free money

I am a single user and was not sent an email about overusing data. I ended up not being able to park in my city to buy groceries. I am walking down the street this weekend to transfer my account to another provider. Just unacceptable.
