I have a prepaid account with virgingplus that I have had for many years. I recently purchased an unlocked Google Pixel 7a from BestBuy. I took the the sim card out of my old Samsung phone and put it in pixel 7a but I cannot get the mobile data to work correctly. I can send/receive text message and calls but cannot browse the internet using the mobile data.
I went into my virgin mobile account and changed my phone to pixel 7a, but no change. I got a new sim card yesterday and again I still cannot get the mobile data to work correctly. I have tried factory resetting my phone twice so far, and disabling/enabling airplane mode.
One thing I noticed this morning is that the IMEI listed in my virginplus account does not match what my phone says, which is a little confusing since I just put a new sim card in this phone and activated the new sim card yesterday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
