Cell phone data not connecting after returning from travel

I turned off data to my daughter's phone (an android) while she was traveling through the States.  Once she crossed the boarder and was back in Canada for a bit, I turned the data back on.  That was four hours ago and she still doesn't have access to data on the phone.  On the account it shows that data is no longer blocked.  How long does this take?

Hey there @toolman60

Welcome to the Community and great question.

When an account change occurs, there might be a small delay for it to be fully updated on your service.

Bellow are a few tips that may help;

  • Try restarting the phone (fully power off and back on again).
  • Make sure your mobile data is turned on in the settings.
  • Try manually resetting your network settings.

Give those a try and keep the Community updated with the results.

Hi. Last week I was in France, and since I returned to Canada yesterday, my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G) doesn't connect to the network; the phone does not identify that there is a SIM. I have tried all possible options I think are appropriate (restart it, reset it, swap SIM, etc.) and it doesn't work. The only thing I did during my trip was activate/deactivate flight mode. Any recommendations to solve this issue? Thanks!
