Hi,
Currently I am using Pixel 4XL with the "Loyalty Diamond 85" plan which includes below features...
Loyalty Diamond 85
• Call Display
. Can-US/International Text
. myPeeps (vpc.ca/mypeeps)
. Smartphone Data - 20 GB
• Unlimited anytime minutes
. Unltd Picture & Video Messaging
. Voicemail 3
• Canada-Wide Calling
• Unlimited Incoming Text
. Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling
. 1000 LD Min to 14 countries.
Good to know: All features in your plan are valid only when used within Canada.
Now I am planning to upgrade, to Pixel 6 Pro but unfortunately unable to upgrade with my current plan and received a special offrer "Sweet Pay 75" which includes the following features...
Loyalty Sweet Pay 75
. 40 GB Data
. Anytime local minutes
. Unlimited text
. Call waiting and 3-Way Calling
. Canada-wide calling
. Voicemail & Call Display
I am curious about which features of my current plan will be unavailable in the new plan...for example I believe, 1000 LD Min is not going to be included in the new plan...so what else will be not included in the new plan and will it worth it to switch plans ?? if not ?? how can I upgrade without changing my current plan...
I apologies for the long post, thanks in advance and have a great weekend everyone...

Hey there @JAzz,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
As per your description, you currently have a grandfathered Diamond plan. Those plans are no longer eligible for renewals and a new Sweet Pay plan will need to be chosen.
As per your question regarding the features, it will depend on the plan you would be interested in. You can rest assured that you will be advised if anything would fall off by a pop-up notification and can also be confirmed at the moment you select the said plan with a comparison window (if completed via My Account).

I want to upgrade my phone but keep my current rate plan as it's unlimited worldwide but this option isn't available when trying to upgrade online. I'd this still possible?

I'd like to upgrade my phone but keep my same plan.. is there anyway to do that? I can't even seam to "upgrade" to the same iphone12 without having to get a more expensive plan... I already don't use half the data I pay for I really don't need to pay for another 30Gs I'll never use..

I think you have to buy the phone elsewhere. The "upgrade" feature probably uses the new plan to help pay off the phone. If you buy the phone outright, then it is YOUR phone and you can do what you want with it (i.e. keep the same plan)
