Potential charges after cancellation?

I’m looking into cancelling one of my phone lines with Virgin and transferring one line to another company. Does anyone know if there are any charges for transferring (will transfer close to the end of the billing cycle) or if it will have an affect on my other line?

Good morning, @Corgiiborgi. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thanks for your post.

Please bear in mind that as the Community is a peer-to-peer support channel, we cannot provide insight as to your account and its surrounding circumstances specifically. We can only provide you the broad strokes.

With that said, a few things for you to know and keep in mind regarding cancellation:

  1. There are no outright cancellation fees. However, if your phone line is currently on a agreement, you will be charged the outstanding owed amount remaining in full on your next bill after cancellation. This agreement and its balance is not transferrable to other phone lines or accounts.
  2. If there is a second (or more) additional lines on the account, there would be no changes to how they're billed. However, if they were receiving an additional line offer in the form of a monthly credit or additional data, that may fall off.

Let us know if you have any further questions. Best wishes.
