Duolingo trial activation

I managed to close the window before activating the duolingo benefit. Now, it says I have already activated it (which I haven't) and I cannot access it... How can I access this?

Yes, I do know about the app; that's how I knew about the Duolingo benefit. 
It must have reset on its own after a few days as I have now been able to continue again.
