Anyone else get this text message from 433316 - is this a scam ?

It is indeed free of charge, and will remain attached so long as you remain on a plan that is compatible with the Crave Basic offer. At this time, only talk & text plans (plans without any included data) are excluded from the Crave Basic offer.

For future reference, in case of any confusion - it shows as "Crave Basic - Value of $9.99" as an add-on to your plan.

Hello, I also received the same text message. Can I ask how long is it free for and how can I cancel it? I don't see any options in My Account. Thank you. 

How do we use this offer? When I click the link it says that I need to choose a subscription… however the text offer says “we’ve added crave basic to your account, on us.”

@Soapy, you can remove the add-on when logging into your My Account profile for your phone number, scrolling down to Plan, add-ons & travel, and select Manage Add-onsOpens in a new tab or window From there, you'll be prompted with a screen for "Add or remove add-ons" - Crave Basic will be under Others, at which point you can simply click the check box to remove it.

@Kortnie, could you share a screenshot of what you're seeing when you go to vpc.ca/crave? It should be taking you directly to a Bell Media registration page for Crave.

I was able to get it to work. I had to enter in the secondary phone lines information. 

However, can you confirm this is free of charge? And how long does this offer go for? I called Virgin Plus yesterday, and the representative had no idea what I was talking about and cannot see it on my account.

I just signed up for free Crave offer. However when I go out to Crave Login it will not sign me in. So I have to sign in from my Virgin Account? I’d so, how? How long is the free offer food for? A bit frustrated!

 

To be clear, will this remain free as long as I stay on my current Virgin plan?  I do see the 'Crave Basic - Value of $9.99' on my account that you mentioned here.  Will I be notified if I am going to be charged for this in the future?

We got the message about the free Crave offer which we signed up for, but now see the charge on our Visa for $22! What's with that?

You have to go through vpc.ca/crave for some reason 

Tried that and still did not work. I give up.

Why was this benefit extended to some virgin plus members but not others? A friend of mine who is also on virgin told me about this benefit but I didn't receive a message nor do I see this benefit anywhere.

How long is the Crave membership?

Is there any cost?

Do I need to cancel at a certain moment to get charged??

 

I called to remove Roam sweet Roam, but still kept my regular plan.  I was told I would lose CRAVE.  Is that correct?
