Attempting to pay online with Credit Union MasterCard debit card - Error Code GPSO-0402

I recently moved my banking to Kawartha Credit Union in Brockville, Ontario and was provided with a MasterCard debit card.

Unlike my old TD Visa debit card, the Virgin system will not accept the new MasterCard debit card.  I get an error message with the code GPSO-0402.

I prefer paying online with the M/C debit card and wondered how I can resolve this issue with your payment system?
