Account terms and the support chat

I was wondering if there was any clause in the terms and conditions where an account might be suspended if it is not used often enough to place a phone call.

I mainly use my phone to receive text messages as part of a two factor authentication process with other institutions I have an account with. It is fairly rare that I use my phone to make a phone call.

When I logged into the Virgin mobile site and tried to ask this question to the chatbot, I was instructed to log into my account, in spite of the fact that I had already logged in.

Hey there @Question,

Welcome to the Community.

That is a good question and it depends if you have a Postpaid or a Prepaid account.

If you have a Postpaid account you would only need to make sure that your invoices are paid on time and in full.

If you have a Prepaid account and your funds expire and you do not top up for 90 days, then your account will completely disconnect.
