I have actually switched to a different fiber internet privider in June!
Initially I was happy that they use a WiFi pod device as a router and you must download an App to access the WiFi pod to setup your own main & a guest WiFi network access. They also has a parent control in the App that you can setup sleep hours or to turn on the WiFi or to block the WiFi access for a certain device.
However, they only offer the minimal control settings in the App for free!
If you want to setup a schedule for the device WiFi access times on different days, you have to upgrade the Parent Control plan and to pay a decent monthly fee!
I think Bell finally found a very high demand profitable business to grab your money! This parental control setup feature used to be built-in with the routers in those telephone dial-up , internet access days! Anyways, the freebie vdays are gone!
I did a Google search and realized that Bell has started doing the same thing!
BTW. the different Fiber internet provider that I switched to is also a subsidiary of Bell! I am sure Virgin Plus will follow suite very soon!
