Recently near Camrose AB where cell service is terrible for all carriers. This visit I got a drop down message saying something like I could connect via satellite connection assistant. I opened the drop down but the thought it might be a scam or it would be a user cost add on so turned off the phone and the icon disappeared. I ignored the drop down when it happened again later. Is this a service Virgin offers in poor reception areas (I read something about Starlink in rural areas now)? Does it cost to use it?
