Hello ,

When using wifi calling on Samsung Galaxy S10 plus incoming calls go to voicemail. turning wifi calling off will receive calls. Turning wifi calling back on results in incoming calls going to voice mail. The Internet signal is strong, I have restarted the phone, and the most up-to-date version of the software is being used

Thanks

Hey there @Fergus

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.

There are several reasons why your Wi-Fi calling might be sending calls straight to voicemail. Let's troubleshoot this:

  • Wi-Fi Connection Issues: The most common reason is a problem with your Wi-Fi connection. Is your Wi-Fi working properly? Try connecting other devices to your Wi-Fi network to see if they have issues. A weak signal, intermittent connection, or a complete lack of connection will prevent Wi-Fi calling from working. Restart your router and your phone.
  • Wi-Fi Calling Settings: Ensure Wi-Fi Calling is properly enabled on your phone. The exact location of this setting varies by phone manufacturer and operating system (Android or iOS). Check your phone's settings menu under "Cellular," "Network & internet," or a similar section. Make sure it's turned on and that your phone is registered with the Wi-Fi calling service.
  • Carrier Settings: Check for service outages or network problems in your area. Check if your account has any restrictions affecting Wi-Fi calling (Visible feature in your plan details).
  • Phone Software: Outdated software on your phone can interfere with Wi-Fi calling functionality. Make sure your phone's operating system and carrier apps are updated to the latest versions.
  • Airplane Mode: If Airplane Mode is accidentally enabled, Wi-Fi calling won't work, even if Wi-Fi is on. Double-check that Airplane Mode is off.
  • Do Not Disturb (DND) Mode: If you have a DND mode enabled that blocks all calls, even Wi-Fi calls, your calls will go straight to voicemail.
  • Blocked Numbers: Check if the number calling you is accidentally blocked on your phone.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart your phone and router: This often resolves temporary glitches.
  2. Check your Wi-Fi connection: Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network if possible.
  3. Verify Wi-Fi Calling settings: Ensure it's enabled and your phone is registered.
  4. Update your phone's software: Ensure you have the latest operating system and carrier updates.
  5. Have you contacted our technical support team to troubleshoot further. They have access to tools and information to diagnose the problem more accurately.

Give those a try and keep the community updated with the results.
