Using Google watch app to connect to my carrier - Error : Username/password combo is incorrect

I am trying to use the google watch app to "connect to your mobile carrier" when i get to the screen to log into my Virgin plus account it continuously says my username/password combo is incorrect. It is not incorrect. I even went to far to log in on the computer and CHANGED my password and still same error. How can I continue to connect my phone to my watch

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post. 

When faced with the username/password combo is incorrect error, it usually means that the password change did not save itself properly. 

Here are a few tricks to ensure your password is saved properly;

  • Make sure to log out of all My Account profiles that uses the same credentials before changing the password. 
  • After you've changed your password, it is important to manually log off My Account before closing your web page.

Give that a try and keep us updated if you're still facing the same troubles after.

I have finally figured out the issue today. You can log into myaccount with your phone number or a username. I normally use my phone number. so today I used my username and it worked!
