Getting calls and texts for the person who had my number before me

I keep getting spam texts, calls and even some non-spam for the person who had my phone number before me. They’re all directed at the same name, so I know it’s from him. How do I stop the incessant texts and calls?

You can block incoming calls, and Text messages from unwanted numbers using the Call Block feature.

Depending on the make and model of your device the steps to block a number will differ.

I do block them, but they all come from different numbers (the spam specifically).

I get that those calls would be annoying. Spam calls are out of our control. But, you can add your number to the National Do Not Call list to help prevent unwanted spam calls in the future. You can also check out out our site for details on how to protect yourself from fraud.

There are a great number of Unknown callers using minutes on my phone. Is there a way I can block these Unknown Callers?
