my plan is prepaid for $28 a month for 1gb of data per month. I have reached the 1gb limit for the current month. Do I need to ask Virgin to charge data overage rates to my account balance in order to use more than 1gb for this current month? I thought that overage rates would be charged to my balance automatically, but instead data usage is simply not available to me after I reached the 1gb limit.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there, @sometimesoon. Welcome to the Community.
When trying to go over your allotted data, do you have an available balance already in place? Overage charges actively pull from any currently available balance as opposed to being charged monthly like your plan.
Let us know if you were still in need of assistance.

Yes, I have an available balance already in place. In spite of this balance, however, data usage has not been available to me after I reached the 1gb limit for the current month. It seems like the overage charge mechanism is not functioning. Are there any settings on my account, and/or phone, that might cause this to happen? Thanks.
