My son and I are on a family plan without data. It's costing me $77 per month for both of us. I was looking at the $47 month for 10gb data deal. Is it really a deal. Do we have to stop the family plan and pay $47x2 =94 + taxes. I'm a bit confused.

The 10GB plan does not include shared data. If you do choose to switch, you can choose to change both lines, or just one line.

Thanks for the quick reply. So Virgin doesn't offer shared data, ok. I know my son would hog all the data, leaving me with nothing. I think my best bet is for me to go to a Virgin store and have a chat with their people. I'm still weery about data. And how bills magically inflate, especially if you don't monitor the data use.
