Local calling billing inquiry.

I have local calling on my plan and I have been unable to find out how I will be billed. Google searching Virgin local calling I can find how I am billed if i was with Rogers or Telus but not Virgin.

It appears I have a Windsor number based on the first 6 digits but I have never lived in that region. Will I be billed long distance on incoming calls from my local region? Non local regions like Toronto or Kingston?

Are outgoing rates based on tower I am connected to or my number?

And how do I find local calling regions so I know what is local or not.

Thanks

Hi there, @AUser. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.

Long distance calling is determined by your physical location in a local calling area. As an example: if you're calling from Montreal to your mother in Toronto, even if you both have the same area code, you're in a different calling area and thus it's considered a long distance call.

For determining local calling areas, take a look at this handy site, NPA NXX SourceOpens in a new tab or window. You can enter your phone number to search for your local calling area, and those surrounding your area as well.
