I paid once my Dec bill online via Virgin plus

I paid once only my Dec bill via Virgin Plus site. Now see two transactions in my credit card transaction - one posted and one pending.  I only authorized once and received only one email confirmation on my payment. What is going on?

It is possible to sometimes see two pending charges on a credit card; I personally have this happen from time to time with my groceries and gas.

If you made a one time payment, it could be a posting delay on your statement.
