How to acquire Virgin Plus Home Phone

Hi all !

I have just had a 2 month nightmare with these guys trying to get Virgin Plus Home Phone.  I got the Internet with them 2 months ago and my plan was to get their Home Phone ASAP.  I have been holding on to my previous internet provider (I'm saying "previous" but I am still paying them monthly) so that I can transfer my home phone number to Virgin Plus.  Since then... unable to get a straight answer on how to get the Home Phone Hub.  I can waive the installation fee if I do this through "Chat".  Great!  I try to do it through Chat but, eventually, I'm told to go to the Virgin Plus store.  I checked out where the Virgin Plus store is and I went to it and they tell me they don't sell Home Phone and that I have to go through the web page.  I told the store clerk that I tried that several times (hours each time) and I end up being told to go see the store.  She tried to help me out and called Virgin Plus and spent half an hour on the phone.  She explained the situation and was given another phone number to call.  She did and after another 15 minutes, she got hung up on (seems the employees get treated as badly as the customers).  So, I tried today again using the Chat (5th time now... what other choice do I have except cancel Virgin Plus if I want to maintain my home phone number) and I spoke for the first time to someone who knew what she is doing and who is making the effort of finding out the problem.  She transfers me to someone else and the nightmare starts again and it gets escalated to the loyalty group (the guys that try to calm irate customers who are about to pop a brain vessel or their aorta) and after another half hour with that person (who has my number because she called me) the line goes dead and she doesn't call back. After fruitlessly waiting for her call back, I have to try and get back to that team (their phone number is not public and all I know is Mary of the Loyalty dept.) and start the process again and I'm at the 2 hr 45 min mark and the left side of my face is starting to droop and I'm slurring my words by now and I have had several of those pointless calls in the last couple of months and....  adl;[poja  apoaopiert  sliae\

Hey there @Horseonaboat

I would like to firstly apologize for any confusion that may have occurred surrounding the acquisition of our Virgin Plus Home PhoneOpens in a new tab or window service.

At this time, The Virgin Plus Home Phone service is only offered in Alberta, British Columbia and parts of Quebec and is only sold in select store/retailers.

If you live in one of the 3 provinces listed above, let us know, along with which city you're located in and will help with the next steps.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am expecting to move into a independent living facility and would like to keep my landline with the same number that I have had for 46 years. I have a Virgin mobile account and only recently found out about the landline option. However, in reading what you have been going through, I am having second thoughts. Did ever come to a solution and is it working out. I would appreciate your inputvon this subject.
