Hello! I'm just wondering why I'm getting a bill for this month when I cancelled my account a month and a half ago and already paid my "final bill." ????

Hi there, @Leon. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thanks for your post.

When services are cancelled in the middle of a billing period, you will automatically receive a prorated credit to cover any days the service was not active within the said billing period. This normally happens within 1-2 billing cycles after cancellation.

Look at the dates they're charging you for. It it lines up to when you actually cancelled your plan then this is actually your final bill. If the dates don't make sense, call em and ask what's the final balance on your account?

On November 22nd, I canceled my Virgin service, even though I had paid the bill and there were 4 days left until the end of the service, a bill of $39.32 was issued. What is this amount for?

Hello!

I called to request the cancellation of my cell phone on May 3rd in Canada. However, the May fee has been charged as it is, so I am leaving an inquiry like this. Since I left Canada after May 4th and have no plans to return, I am requesting the cancellation of my cell phone and withdrawal of the fee.

Why am I being charged for internet services when I cancelled the account on June 4th, 2024??

Why do they continue to charge me if I cancelled the service in November when I changed to another operator?

My bill cycle starts on 27th of each month.

I am in the process of porting my phone to another provider, and the SIM card should arrive late this week.  So I expect to be ported over by about March 7 or so.  I do NOT have any other Virgin accounts so a credit is of ZERO value to me.

My bill is for period ending March 27.  I have not paid it yet, and payment is due on March 14.  So assuming I am billed for period Feb 28 - March 27, that is 28 days.  But my account would be terminated on March 7 when my number is ported over, so that is 8 days.

So my prorated bill would be $billed * 8 /28 correct?

Should I call Virgin to request a new bill or just pay that prorated amount?
