Unable to cast my Virgin Plus TV on my TV from my phone

I still can't my virgin plus tv to cast to my tv from my phone.

In order for the community to best assist, a few more details will be needed;

  • Is your phone and app updated to their latest versions?
  • Are you able to watch content on your phone directly?
  • Are you receiving any error messages and/or codes when attempting to cast? If so, what is the message and/or code?
  • Are you able to cast from any other apps on your phone to your TV?
  • How are you attempting to cast and to what kind of casting device?
  • Have you reviewed the Virgin Plus TV SupportOpens in a new tab or window section on VirginPlus.ca for tips and tricks?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

I'm having the same problem. When I attempt to cast from the Virgin app, it doesn't bring up my available Smart TV.

-phone updated a few days ago, app was just installed today

-can watch content on my phone

-no error messages, it just says 'no cast destination found'

-Can cast to TV from YouTube without issue

-TV is a Hisense/Vidaa smart TV from Costco

-Unable to find a solution from the Support section on the website, or from the virtual chat function.
