Question: If Switch to Loyalty Plan, Will I lose Refer-A-Friend Credits?

I've asked several member reps, whether I will lose my Refer-A-Friend Credits or not, if I switch from my current plan (that I got from last year's Black Friday) to the loyalty plan that is currently shown in My Account.

50 per cent of the member reps (2 agents) said I will lose all the refer-a-friend credits so they asked me to stay until all the credits are exhausted.

Another 50 per cent of the member reps (the other 2 agents) promised that I will NOT lose my refer-a-friend credits even if I switch to a loyalty plan; all the refer-a-friend credits will stay with me.

Therefore, WHAT IS THE CORRECT ANSWER to this question?

(Last concern, I hope Virgin can add the 5G speed back to the service).

Hi there, @Justin Yu. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thanks for your post.

We're happy to confirm that the Refer-a-Friend credit will remain active if the monthly plan is updated, regardless of whether it's a normal in-market plan or a loyalty plan.

Best wishes. 🙂
