BYOP plans

We have a $30 BYOP plan for my daughter with her 5S phone. If she gets a new phone for her iPhone 8 or higher, would her phone plan cost increase?  Or is the cost of the BYOP plans the same no matter what phone you have?

I am prepaid, I had an old Walmart phone I used for my service, then got the original iPhone SE, all I did was get the sim card cut down to fit the iPhone and put it in, it worked fine, I didn't change the phone or plan on my account but that was a few years ago
