Hello,
Hardware: Samsung S20
Issue: wifi calling works fine until random stop. When I toggle it on/off or restart phone, the little phone/wifi icon doesn't appear and I have no reception for calls or text mesages. Once I get back into town and get network coverage + wifi, it works fine again.
I work in a remote area with no network coverage. Wifi calling works fine until it doesn't.
Support from Virgin: call phone company
Support from Samsung: It's carrier related, contact them.
Anyone had/has a similar issue?
Thanks

I have looked at all the conditional perquisites found here: https://www.virginplus.ca/en/support/wifi-calling.html
Where do I find this : If you’re using Wi-Fi calling for the first time, read and accept the terms and conditions and provide a 911 emergency address.

Good morning @Manitoba Cowboy
Thanks for your post and welcome to the community 🙂
We understand how inconvenient that would be and we wanted to check in to make sure you're able to use your Wi-Fi calling now.
If you are still having any trouble please share exactly what happens when you try to make a call via Wi-Fi.
We also recommend that you try the following:
- Toggle Wi-Fi calling off and then back on in your settings.
- Reset your network settings.
- Make sure your phone is updated to it's latest version.
Let us know if you need anything else.
