This $6.00 was across all BELL owned services including my Virgin Mobile and Home services so I called to ask what was the source of the increase. It seems BELL just went to the CRTC and said we need to charge $6 more and the CRTC approved it??? But get this-they then made me an offer to remove the $6 monthly fee if I agreed to a 2 year internet contract. This is Hilarious, I have been a Bell customer for more than 28 years, where do they think I am going? And it gets better, if I agree to the 2 year contract and for some reason leave earlier then there is a fee of $463!!! I asked the rep, does that even make sense to you, if I've been here for 28 years but I take and leave a 2 year contract you get $463 of my money???? Anyway I left it at that because I am simply not going to pay the extra $6.00 per month and see what they will do to me, a customer of almost 30 years!

Just noticed my bill also increased 6$ per month - no notice given to me from the company. Already switched my phone plan, and that was even before I noticed this. Some Canadian carriers are wild.

Why has my bill risen from $82.77 to $89.67?????

Yes, companies seem to hook you in with NEW activations which are cheaper and offer more than the my current plan, and the only way you can reduce your monthly is to switch companies constantly.  Very frustrating because they all behave the same...there is NO longer any retention efforts.  Half my family is with Rxgxrs and they also increase the plan every so often but they ALWAYS give you retention offers that match the new price increase but you get more data, international calls, text, etc...for no additional cost.  So...I will be switching my 2 lines after only 18 months with Virgin and 2 increases since then.  Adios Virgin

My name is Tazree . I am using this virgin mobile plan for last 1.5 years. I was paing 39 dollar per month . But from last January my bill became increased and it became 46 dollar per months. i agree mine went up to 101 and when i called she basically said tough luck

I was only informed about bill increase through my bill. This is an ineffective way to convey important updates to your customers. I would suggest that you email or send a text message to ensure your customers know that their bill is going to be increased and they can take action if required. Otherwise you’re just making money off people without their knowledge.

Why has my billing account for TV and Internet gone up by $50 over the past 2 months? My Mar/26 Bill was $161 and change, my Apr/26 Bill was about $201 and change, and my latest bill in May/26, was $211 and change, with the difference being increased TV and Internet (my cellphone rates have been stable).  So much for price stability when signing a 2 year contract!  What gives?

I'm disgusted with this company. Already such poor service, reception, website, everything, and you stick hidden price increases in the fine print hoping we will just go along with it?!

You didn't even get confirmation.

I want a refund. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I DEMAND a refund. How DARE you people?

Anyone unlucky enough to be a customer of this disgusting company must check their bill every single month, even if nothing changed, because they might secretly be changing something the *next* month where they jack up the price.

Virgin just sneaked a 10% increase on my bill.  I know, Virgin says it does post it a notification on my bill (which I only look at if there is a discrepancy), so I looked back two statements and didn't see anything.  But I checked again more closely and finally noticed a little red "1" that I clicked on and found the notification.  They can send me a text and an email with the amount due on my bill, but can't send me a text warning of the increase?  I posted on this forum about this issue before and obviously Virgin would rather sneak the increase in, which is why I don't opt in for direct payment from my bank.  I think I am going to shop around for a different phone plan.

I never got notified..looking into switching

I joined on a $25/month plan just 6 months ago, and already they're hiking the price by $6.

Has this happened to anyone else?

i just got the same ''surprise''.

Got the 25$ plan special like your and  i receive my rbills with 6$ up !   I will call them to complain and hopefully , black friday bills coming soon .  i will go back with fizz that thet never have any price up.
