Hey there Community members.
We wanted to take a second and show you where pricing change notifications can be found on your bills.
All notifications are provided on the bills 30 to 90 calendar days prior their effectiveness, these details can be found in our Virgin Plus Terms Of Service under Changes To Your Agreement on point number 52.
First thing is to log in to MyAccount and click on See current bill (as shown on below image).
Or you can select our quick link option to View your bill
On the next page you will see the option to download a PDF version of the invoice (Please do so on your previous bills inside of the 30 to 90 calendar days notification period to locate the notice).
Once on the PDF version of your bill you can navigate the different pages to see various notifications or change notices.
Pricing changes are normally found under the section Total current charges (as shown on below image).
*number of pages as shown on image will differ depending on how many services you have on your account.
We appreciate your participation on the Virgin Plus Community Forum.☺

Yes and it's infuriating. This happens every year. As continual customers we should get discounts, not increases. Does Virgin appreciate our loyalty or not??

Why not a text? Who looks at the bill when you are on a standard rate all the time? I really am getting disgusted with all of these increases. And, yes, as a loyal customer, I would think one would get some consideration. It's not as if I see any major improvements in the service. It's seamless until something like this happens. A real justification would be nice. And more than putting it on a bill that no-one looks at. It seems you get punished if you don't upgrade. I can't afford the upgrades and I don't want one.

When I stated just four years ago I was paying $20.00 a month less. Now it seems that there has been two increases in a 12 month period. This time over $7.00 a month more. I have just about had it with Virgin.

Just realized that my bill increased this month without adequate notification. I checked my previous emails and I did not see one that specifically communicated that there would be a price increase in 2026. Like others have mentioned, there should be a loyalty discount, not an increase. It’s a competitive market out there and it’s easy to move from one provider to another. If you want customer loyalty, you need to do a better job of appreciating your customers.

September 2024 $55 / monthly charges
July 2025 $61 <-- 11% increase
Feb 2026 $67 <-- 10% increase
That’s an increase of 21% in less than a year and a half. My service has not improved. My phone is paid for. I don’t use anywhere near all of my data. I will be calling tomorrow to ask for a cheaper plan. If that doesn't happen, I'll take my phone and walk to another provider.

I am so SICK AND TIRED of rates increasing for zero increase in service. For us that’s $12 plus tax, every month. So for $144 plus tax a year, what are we getting for that???? Oh wait, NOTHING! Same old same old, no uptake in services, just an increase in what is already the highest cell service costs in the WORLD here in Canada!

UPDATE: I called and spoke to the Retention team. I was able to change my plan to a lower rate and I am happy now. Still, I don't think an increase of 21% in 18 months is reasonable, and I shouldn't have had to spend a half-hour of my time tied up on the phone. I recommend that you call them if you are not happy with these large increases.

Mine went up $4 per month. I got a good deal about a year ago for talk and text, now it becomes not such a good deal. There was nothing in the line 'Changes to you bill' on my ebill either.

I switched to Virgin Plus abt. 1.5 years ago. Our local Costco was pushing them - said the rates were better than anyone else (was with Rogers previously). I will check with Costco again next visit to see if they now recommend someone else. The $46 per phone that I will now pay no longer seems like that great of a deal anymore.

I totally agree. I do not look at my bill, unless the rate is different. VIrgin emails me all these deals, and texts all these promotions things, yet, when I asked why they don't for increases, or things like this, they said look at my bill! Well, I would like to opt out of all of the other stuff then too they spam me with!
I was not impressed with this increase at all, especially on a few lines, and on top of that, new people signing up are getting better than what I have, let alone had!
