Going on a long vacation or closing up the cottage for the winter?
You can choose to suspend your Virgin Plus Internet, TV and Mobility services.
Let’s take a look at what to expect:
Internet:
Your Virgin Plus Internet service will be charged at a reduced rate - to a maximum of 6 months, and will take effect on the desired suspension start date. Depending on suspension start date, prorated charges may apply.
If a period longer than 6 months is needed, one full bill cycle at market price will be required before a new suspension can be provided.
Once suspended, you will no longer have internet access through your Virgin Plus Internet connection; Virgin TV will also be suspended.
TV:
Included with your Virgin Plus Internet suspension; you will not have access to TV programming and Download and Go will be unavailable.
Mobility:
Available to month-to-month or BYOP plan Members - Mobility services can be suspended at a reduced rate (subject to change). The suspension has a maximum duration of 6 months, and replaces your original monthly plan; when you choose to resume your services, you will need to agree to a new in market monthly plan.
You will not be able to make or receive calls (except 9-1-1 calls), send or receive text messages, and any mobile services on linked devices, such as NumberShare wearable devices will not work. Your voicemail and Call Forward will also be suspended and incoming calls will hear the recorded message ‘This number is not in service, check the number and try your call again’.
