Does that same argument applies, if instead of porting in, you are changing numbers? Say change province from BC to ON?

I was able to port in without triggering a buyout in contract. So, yeah @VirginPlusAntonie was right. I would now like to know whether this is true for out of province numbers as well. Say the original number is from ON and porting in number from BC?

Hi Last I called, the agent told me port-in will trigger cancellation of contract. Can you double confirm this info?
